Thank you for your interest in Bellflower Beauty College of Lakewood. Or, BBC, as we like to call it.

Let me begin by telling you our story!

For 28 years we were the Bellflower Adult Cosmetology School which was part of the Adult Education Department of Bellflower Unified School District. We had an outstanding reputation within the industry and consistently graduated students ready for the work force. As the state budget crisis continued the District decided it needed to close all Adult Education programs. When we were told of their decision the staff (as any family would do) had a meeting and looked at each other and said, “Now what will the students do?” Being the leader of our little family, Mrs. Martinez looked at us and said, “We will just open our own school!” And that’s how BBC of Lakewood came to be.

We are bringing our same staff plus a couple of new faces. After all, who wants to break up a family? We will continue to provide outstanding education to our students and to our clients, who have been so loyal to us for all these years and have waited so patiently for us to open our doors at our new facility. So, even though we are in a new location as a private school, you will receive the highest level of education with a well trained staff that has been serving this community for over 27 years. We would love to have you join us in our new endeavor.
